Was kind of disappointed it was very gritty when applied took a while to rub it in just very disappointing on how it felt. Didn't really like to smell either
Hey Brenda. We are very sorry to hear you had some issues with our tallow! The pint jar of the premium beef tallow you bought is the base (1st step for making a moisturizer) so everything you just explained is exactly to be expected if you just scoop it out of the jar and straight to the skin. We have our moisturizer line that we use low heat to melt. We then add a few things (Shea butter, Olive oil and honey + the whole ingredient to scent) and then whip (to help absorb in the skin better) while bringing the temp down at a controled rate to avoid the crystal formation!
